h&m dress
This dress might make me break my ‘don’t buy h&m’ rule. Both colourways make me squeal like an excited little girl.
Edit: This review doesn’t look too promising.

The Diksi sale went up to -50% a few days ago, which means I finally allowed myself to buy the dress I’ve been lusting after for over 4 months (on the right).
Also, today was supposed to be productive, instead, I spent the entire day in bed with a cold. I’m trying to muster all the courage I have left to get my arse on a bus to the city. Tomorrow’s Kendo Championship will not be good.

While the weather in Belgium is still chilly, I ordered myself some Cimdi mittens. Their website states these are hand-knit by traditional crafts women. A scene of Latvian grannies knitting by the fireplace springs to mind, it doesn’t take much more than that to make me fall in love with something.
More on Latvian mittens:
Latvia is famous for the fact that the oldest mittens have been found here by archaeologists. They are estimated to be approximately ten centuries old. The tradition of knitting mittens stems from the cold weather of Northern Europe; although it is worth mentioning that centuries ago mittens played a decorative role as well. By fastening them behind the waistband, they were worn in summer as a bijouterie and adornment. For several centuries they were the main form of gift and endowed with magical significance. - Riga Summit
